Introduction

Amendment 6 tell you about the rights to a fair trial. It also talks about how you have a right to have a lawyer if you want one.




Explanation of the 6th Amendment

There are many parts to the Sixth Amendment. One of them is that in any crime, whoever is accused shall have the right to have a quick and public trial. Another part is that the police have to inform the accused of their crime. A third part is that you have the right to a lawyer but if they can't afford one the government must provide one for them.
